Psalm 100
A psalm. For giving grateful praise. Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.
When I see this psalm, I think of choir.
While many of us believe that alone we cannot sing, collectively together we are able to create such melodious sounds that all the angels in heaven stop and wonder the joy that is in their heart!
That the Master Creator of the Universe wants to have an intimate relationship with us.
Through the vehicle of music, we can know and understand things that mere words cannot express. Come join us as we raise our voices.
Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir, under the direction of Troy Dolendo, is always looking for new members. There is no audition required.
Singers of all talent levels, from beginners to those with many years of experience are all welcome. Rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Please feel free to show up on any Tuesday. The choir sings three weeks out of every month, with a lighter schedule during the summer. The praise team is Windermere Union Church’s contemporary music group that provides all kinds of music during the worship service. Praise team practice takes place Sunday in the Sanctuary from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Contact Troy Dolendo for more information.
