Meet Our Team

Welcome to a wonderfully unique community of faith, the Windermere union Church United Church of Christ. We feel a part of our purpose is to assist you becoming the person God created you to be. We are a congregation that enjoys the challenge of discovering and exploring the questions of life and faith. The Windermere Union Church celebrates its diversity. We welcome people for who they are and truly enjoy the differences. If you are looking for the kind of community that enjoys and celebrates life with all of its ups and downs and mystery, then you have found a home. We look forward to serving God with you and we are excited about what unique qualities you will bring to our community.

Pastor Brad Jagger

Senior Pastor

Pastor Brad grew up in the tradition of the United Methodist Church in Ohio. He attended Kent State University in Ohio majoring in Philosophy with a Minor in Religious Studies and received his Master of Theology from Emory-Candler School of Theology in Atlanta, GA., a seminary affiliated with the United Methodist Church.

While serving in his first church, he began to realize that the denomination he was born into was no longer where he belonged and that his theological views and calling were more closely aligned with the United Church of Christ. He has been a UCC pastor for 21 years citing UCC’s proud history of “firsts”--the first African American, first female, and openly first openly gay pastors – as a tribute to the denomination. Pastor Brad said in his Profile, “I like to think that the “firsts” are not just a part of our history, but a part of our future.” He is a long-time supporter of the LGBTQ+ community. He has served as Pastor for three churches, and for the last 10 years has pastored The Church in Silver Lake in Silver Lake, OH.

Troy Dolendo

We have a wide variety of wonderful musical ensembles that are centered around praising and worshiping God. For our congregants, music speaks to everyone differently, and it is our hope that there is something for everyone musically to help uplift and inspire people during their worship experience. Whether you have gifts to offer as a singer, hand-bell ringer, or instrumentalist, Windermere Union Ministry offers each participant the opportunity for spiritual, musical and interpersonal development.
