Each first Sunday of the month at 5:00 PM, Windermere Union Church joins in serving meals at the West Orange Christian Service Center. This is a wonderful opportunity to share God’s love in action by helping provide food and fellowship to our neighbors in need. All are welcome to come, lend a hand, and be part of this meaningful ministry. Together, we can make a difference—one meal, one smile, one act of kindness at a time.

Gift Card Collection for Matthew’s Hope

This event is geared toward struggling/low income families that cannot afford to provide Christmas gifts for their children but is open to all to enjoy. They accept toys and gift cards for children 4-10.  This year, WUC will be collecting gift cards to give to Matthew’s Hope which parents may use to purchase gifts for their children.  You may donate gifts two ways.  Place gift cards in the box on the credenza at the back of the sanctuary labeled “gift card donations” or place money on the box and cards will be purchased for you.  Thank you

Every second Thursday of the month, from 7:45–9:30 PM, our church family partners with Matthew’s Hope to provide lunch for those experiencing homelessness in our community. This ministry is more than a meal—it’s an opportunity to share dignity, compassion, and the love of Christ with our neighbors in need. All are welcome to join us in serving, offering not just food, but hope and kindness. Together, we can make a meaningful difference—one plate at a time.
