Call to Worship
Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all you, people!
With shouts of joy, we celebrate the good news of God’s love.
Open your hearts to the warmth of God’s redeeming love.
God has poured such wonder into our lives!
Come, let us worship God with hearts and souls, and voices!
Let our praise ring to the rafters and ascend to the heavens!
AMEN.
Offertory
One: Let us pray…
Remind us that you are counting on us for fruitfulness, demonstrating for the world your love, grace, and power as we bear fruit that eases the suffering sick, feeds the hungry, brings justice to the oppressed, and love and compassion to those who feel disconnected or forgotten. Amen.

Scripture Lesson
Mark 1:16-20 (NRSV)
16 As Jesus walked beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. 17 “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.” 18 At once they left their nets and followed him.
19 When he had gone a little farther, he saw James's son of Zebedee and his brother John in a boat, preparing their nets. 20 Without delay he called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired men and followed him.
