Leader: When the prodigal son returned home
All: His parent welcomed him home with open arms
Leader: When the Samaritan woman sat alone by the well shunned by her community
All: Jesus welcomed her, accepted her, and treated her with respect
Leader: When the children ran to Jesus the disciples turned the children away.
All: Jesus welcomed the children with open arms.
Leader: When visitors come to this church alone and broken, we welcome them with open arms
All: No matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here.

16 49 Behold, this was the sin of your sister Sodom: she and her daughters (outlying cities) had arrogance, abundant food, and careless ease, but she did not help the poor and needy. 50 They were haughty and committed repulsive acts before Me; therefore, I removed them when I saw it.
