Call to Worship
One: In Christ, God bids us welcome and brings peace and forgiveness.
All: Even when we dwell in the midst of doubt and fear.
One: In Christ, God bids us welcome and brings hope and healing.
All: Even when we persist in our ways of doubt and fear.
One: Come, O God in Christ, among us once more and bring us your wonder to believe we are loved no matter what.
All: To you, Holy One, today we open our hearts, our spirits, and our souls to receive your healing Word.
Amen.
Offertory
One: Please join me in unison in our Offertory Prayer…Friends, the peace of Christ be with you!
All: And also with you!
One: Let us pray…
Creator and Sustainer of divine living waters, pour your mercy on us. In this Third Lenten Sunday, wash us clean and make us whole. As we share today from your bounty, allow us to believe that our giving is a channel of hope and grace. May these gifts call us to follow a faith journey that embraces your unconditional love, justice, and compassion for a world in need. This we pray in the name of the One whom in faith we confess as the Son of God and Messiah. Amen.

Scripture Lesson
John 13:31-35 (English Standard Version of the Bible)
31 When he had gone out, Jesus said, “Now is the Son of Man glorified, and God is glorified in him. 32 If God is glorified in him, God will also glorify him in himself, and glorify him at once. 33 Little children, yet a little while I am with you. You will seek me, and just as I said to the Jews, so now I also say to you, ‘Where I am going you cannot come.’ 34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. 35 By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.
