What a busy month this has been, and it is not even over. Backpack Sunday was an amazing day. Thanks to everyone for the school supply donations. The donations were delivered to Dillard Street Elementary School on Monday morning. Check out their website for a picture of the donations. The young friends from our church presented the service that morning and did an amazing job. Katerina presented the sermon, with the help of Shea and Malena. Shea played the piano while the other students used sign language to “sing” the song, “Jesus loves the Little Children”. The luncheon that followed the service was delicious.

Last Sunday was the GRAND OPENING of PUPPY LOVE LEMONADE. “Puppy Love Lemonade” is a lemonade/ice cream stand. All items are $1.00 and proceeds will be used to provide items for the rescued dogs and cats at the South Lake Animal Rescue Center. We have started making blankets for the center. The blankets are given to the animals when they enter the center and go with them when they go to their “forever homes”. They also accept animal toys and unopened food. Thank you all for your support. We will be opening “Puppy Love Lemonade” once a month.
