Call to Celebration
God, we enter into this worship space with intention.
We open ourselves to hearing truths that are uncomfortable.
You embodied life and death.
We are benefactors of divine grace.
We cling to the message of hope.
Give us courage to work to become fully human.
You have shown us it is possible to live wholly.
We embrace the challenge to work until love is fully visible on earth. Amen

God, you are fully present in our details. There are parts of us we prefer to deny. You have called us to bring our full selves to the forefront. When we allow the outside disturbances to drown us in despair, remind us to envelope ourselves in your message of life-giving discipleship. Amen
