Recognition Sunday was a great success! Thanks, parents, for sending pictures and accomplishments of your children – so much fun to watch them grow. After the service, the children had fun racing through the obstacle course. This picture of Alex shows him relaxing on the obstacle course while enjoying the good life at Windermere Union Church.
- Update on the lemonade/ice cream stand opening at WUC. We thought we would be making the stand from cardboard boxes. There was concern about what happens when it rains and the lemonade stand gets wet and where will we stand and where will we sit, when suddenly we no longer had any concerns. George and Ann Green came to the rescue. They just happened to have a lemonade stand in their attic, and it is just perfect! Thank you so much, George and Ann. It has been put together and we are in the process of decorating. We could use your help. If you have a dog or cat, please send a picture, along with their name to Miss Chris and we will showcase the picture on the stand. Watch for updates on our grand opening celebration!
- Our Vacation Bible Saturday, COLORS OF THE BIBLE, will be held on July 15th. Volunteers are needed and registration forms will be available by June 18th.
- Remember the July 4th potluck celebration on Sunday, July 2nd, after the worship service. Church will provide hot dogs and drinks, and everyone else attending is asked to bring an appetizer, salad, or dessert. Remember to bring towels for the water balloon fight.
