Virtual Church 2020-07-05 Listen to the Music

July 5, 2020

Over the last few weeks Jesus has been teaching us how to be his disciples.

Call to Celebration

We enter this worship experience celebrating the One who makes us free.
Our joy is made complete in knowing Jesus lived freely.
Jesus calls us to the work of freeing souls.

Jesus also invites us to rest.
The work of liberation is costly.
The fruit of freedom is rewarding.

Amen

Offertory

God of Wisdom, thank you for the freedom to live fully. You have shown us it is possible to live wholly as we experience paradox. Thank you for the pauses you offer us on the journey to becoming. Amen

A Prayer for Peace and Restoration

Holy God, thank you for being our example of balance. You fully immersed yourself into
the human experience, but you did not lose your soul. When the weight of love, freedom
and justice overwhelm us, remind us to sing, “I surrender all.” Amen
